CND Fall/Winter 2010 Preview

I love the new CND line. Most of all the Effect polishes which I showed you here. But there was a color I was missing. CND is filling that gap with their new collection and I am so excited about it. Let´s have a look at it:

CND’s limited edition duo of Urban Oasis, a spruce crème Colour and Teal Sparkle, a bluish green Effect creates a chic, day-to-night denim manicure.

Don´t they just look gorgeous? What are your thoughts? Are you also looking forward to this collection?

Illamasqua Prism versus CND Ice Blue Shimmer

Whed I first saw Prism (my swatches of the whole collection here), I was like hey, I have seen you before! I thought it was similar to CND Ice Blue Shimmer. Well how wrong was I. These two are so much different. I swatched them on a black creme base. Illamasqua (on my index and ring) is an iridescent milky blue and CND (on my pinky and middle) is a blue shimmer. You can really see the difference from the pictures. I don´t know what I like more, both of the effects are cool.

Když jsem poprvé vybalila Prism (fotky celé kolekce zde) z krabičky, něco mi hned připomněl. Myslela jsem si, že je hodně podobný CND Ice Blue Shimmer, ale to jsem se teda pěkně spletla. Tyhle dva laky jsou úplně jiný. Nafotila jsem je na černém krémovém laku. Illamasqua (ukazováček a prsteníček) je mléčně duhově modrá, ale CND (malíček a prostředníček) jsou jen mikro třpytečky. Na fotkách je rozdíl hezky vidět. Nevím, co se mi líbí víc, oba efekty jsou pěkné.

CND Rasprerry Parfait with Sugar Sparkle

A few days ago I showed you my CND Effects and from your comments I learned that a lot of you liked the Sugar Sparkle. It is a limited edition for spring/summer 2010. Originally a part of a set with the polish Sweet, but I didn´t like the color of that one much. So I made my own set using Rapberry Parfait, which is gorgeous! How do you like the look of these two?

Před pár dny jsem vám ukázala svoje CND Effects a z vašich komentářů bylo jasné, že vás nejvíce zaujal Sugar Sparkle. Ten je součástí limitované edice pro jaro/léto 2010 společně s lakem Sweet. Ten mě ale moc nezaujal, tak jsem si vytvořila vlastní sadu s Raspberry Parfait, který je úžasný! Jak se vám tahle kombinace líbí?

My CND Effects

I have to say that I really love playing with the CND effects. If I am tired of my old mani but lazy to do a new one, I just add a layer of these. I have only four, but love them all. If I could, I would get all of them...well, maybe one day :) I am showing you them on a black creme polish, so that you can see the result the best.

Musím se přiznat, že tyhle laky mě nikdy neomrzí. Dá se s nima krásně vyhrát a staré lakování se s jednou vrstvou hned promění na nové. Mám pouze čtyři, ale kdybych mohla, koupím si je všechny :) Nalakovala jsem je na černý krémový lak, tak vyniknou nejlépe.

CND inspiration for spring 2010

I am really glad a lot of you liked my layering with the CND effects that I did lately. For more inspiration I have some CND nail styles fresh from the runway. I chose four styles that I liked the most. Please click on the images for a full size :)

Mám radost, že se vám líbily moje nedávné experimenty s CND effects. Pro další inspiraci pro vás mám další CND přímo z přehlídek. Vybrala jsem čtyři, co se mi líbily nejvíc. Pro větší fotky na ně stačí kliknout :)

China Glaze Grape Pop with CND Amethyst Sparkle

I love playing with the CND effects, so here I bring you another look. I really like how this looks. I think I will be using the CND effects a lot in summer, they look stunning in the sun.

S CND effects si strašně ráda hraju, vždycky je zajímavé, co z toho vyleze. Dnes pro vás teda mám další vrstvení. Výsledek se mi moc líbil :) Myslím, že s CND effects si hodně vyhraju hlavně v létě. Na sluníčku vypadají úžasně!

Orly Wild Wisteria with CND Raspberry Sparkle

As I promised, today I have for you a little layering experiment I did. The CND effects are made for layering on creme polishes and now that I have these beautiful Orly cremes, I gave them a try. As you can see the effect is really amazing (I used just one coat)! Sadly I had no sun so you can not see the full beauty of this mani.

Jak jsem slíbila, dnes pro vás mám menší pokus s vrstvením. CND effects jsou určené právě na krémové laky. A když už konečně mám krásné krémové laky od Orly, musela jsem to hned vyzkoušet. Jak vidíte, ten efekt je úžasný (a to jsem použila jen jednu vrstvu)! Škoda, že zrovna nesvítilo sluníčko a já vám nemůžu ukázat, jak dokonalé to bylo.

OPI Baby It’s "Coal" Outside (with CND Amethyst Sparkle)

It is freezing outside so I thought this polish would be appropriate :) I love the name of this one. This polish is a beautiful black with silverish glitter. It needs just two coats. I added one coat of CND Amethyst Sparkle and it looks even better :)

Venku mrzne, tak jsem vytáhla tenhle lak, s tak příznačným názvem :) Je to krásná výrazný černá se stříbrnýma mikrotřpytečkama a stačí pouze dvě vrstvy. Ještě jsem ho vylepšila jednou vrstvou CND Amethyst Sparkle :)
